The Partition Museum, located at the town hall of Amritsar, showcases the history and the pain of victims during the India-Pakistan partition. The Partition Museum exhibits a collection of stories, memories, and artifacts, which includes photographs, newspapers, clothes, and many things. The things were contributed by those people who were victims of partition. Visitors are allowed to visit between 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Tuesday to Sunday), and the museum remains closed on Monday. There is an entry charge of INR 10 and for foreign visitors, it is INR 250. The museum is free for Partition Survivors and children aged below 5 years. You need 2-3 hours to explore the entire Museum. 

On the border of Tarn Taran Sahib district, Harike Wetland is situated. There is also a Bird Sanctuary near Harike Lake. The place is perfect for nature lovers. Entry to the Harike Wetland is free for everyone. The best time to visit is between 10:00 A.M and 6:00 P.M. One must wear proper footwear, and full sleeve clothes to escape from insects. From October to February the migrating birds visit the Harika wetland, which makes it the best time to visit for nature lovers and bird watchers.
