They also offer a special light and sound show, which costs about INR 10 for Indians and INR 250 for foreign tourists. The show starts at 6:45 PM, depicts the history of the place, and ends after 45 minutes.

Other great castles to admire are the City Palace in Udaipur, Chittorgarh Fort, Bagore Ki Haveli, and Sajjangarh Palace also known as Monsoon Palace, Jag Mandir Palace, Fateh Prakash Palace, and last but not the least Bada Mahal. 

 

Some lakes where you can witness the mystical or thirsty combination of water and goldy forts are Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, Jaisamand Lake all these 3 in Udaipur, Pushkar Lake in Pushkar, Sambhar Lake the biggest inland salt lake in India, which is 60 Km from Jaipur, Nakki Lake in Mount Abu, Balsamand Lake in Jodhpur, Ana Sagar Lake in Ajmer, Anand Sagar Lake in Banswara, Gadisar Lake in Jaisalmer. Tourists are allowed to do boat riding at a specified time and under redundant charges. 

 

Hot Air Balloon in Jaipur is an alternate adventure experience. One can witness the entire pink city and beautiful sightseeing of forts, lakes, and hills. Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, Shiv Vilas, and Delhi-Jaipur Road are some common locations where hot air balloons are available. The average cost for adults is INR 7500 and INR 6000 for a child.   The flight lasts for 1 hour however, it takes 3 hours for the entire process. The maximum altitude that the flight reaches is approx 1200 feet from the ground. In each ride, a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 persons are allowed. The approx cost of a trip is about INR 1000 for two people, the cost for adults and children are the same. The best time to take the ride is at 9:00 am.

 

Don't forget to explore the kingdom of flora and fauna in Rajasthan. Rajasthan has many wildlife sanctuaries and reserves. Wildlife Safari of Ranthambore is popular for sightseeing majestic tigers in their natural habitat. Visitors are allowed in winters from 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM, in summers: 6:00 AM - 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM. One should not miss the famous Hawa Mahal also known as the palace of winds, situated in Pink City, Jaipur. It has an astonishing architecture of small windows which makes the palace cool. Tourists are allowed to enter from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There is an entry charge of INR 50 per head for Indian tourists and INR 200 per head for foreign tourists.
